LINGUINI With HERBED CLAM SAUCE
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cp shallots, chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
2 tbs butter - unsalted
2 tbs flour
1/3 cp dry white wine
1 cp bottled clam juice
10 oz can whole baby clams with juice
1/4 cp minced parsley
3/4 tsp dried thyme
1/2 lb linguine
DIR: In deep skillet cook shallots and garlic in butter until pale golden. Add flour, cook one min., stir in wine, clams and all juice, simmer 5 min. Stir in parsley and thyme. Toss with linguini.
