Baked Salmon New Orleans

1 teaspoon sugar
2 lbs. Whole salmon
1/8 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
1 clove garlic
1 red pepper pod
1 onion
2 ½ cups cooked tomatoes
½ cup olive oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 cups, uncooked potato balls (see recipe for potato balls)
1 cup mushrooms

Brown sugar in pan, Sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper, place garlic and pepper pod inside. Mince onion fine, place onion and salmon in pan with sugar. Cover with tomatoes; add Worchester sauce, olive oil, vinegar and potatoes. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 15 minutes longer or until fish and potatoes are tender.
